Interested in adopting one of our amazing Standardbreds? Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best match between horse and adopter, creating a harmonious and lasting relationship. Here's how it works:

Application Submission: Begin by completing our comprehensive adoption application. This form helps us understand your experience, lifestyle, and the type of equine companion you're seeking. It's crucial in finding the perfect match so we hope that you will be as thorough as possible!

Meet-and-Greet: Once we receive your application, our team will review it thoroughly. If you meet our initial criteria, we'll arrange a meet-and-greet. This is an opportunity for you to spend time with the horse, allowing both of you to get to know each other.

Home Visit: A home visit may be scheduled to ensure your property is suitable for the specific needs of the horse you're interested in. We want to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for your new equine companion. Because our program covers a vast area, the majority of our home visits are completed virtually - through you providing us with photos and video of your property!

Adoption Agreement: Upon final approval, we'll guide you through the adoption agreement, detailing the responsibilities of both parties. This includes care, veterinary needs, and any post-adoption check-ins.

Post-Adoption Support: Our commitment doesn't end with the adoption. We offer ongoing support, advice, and resources to ensure a smooth transition and a fulfilling life for both you and your new equine companion.
